General Information

WHAT ARE THE ART REQUIREMENTS?

We have a great design team that’s capable of bringing your ideas to life. However, If you already have a logo, it will speed up the whole order process.

We can work with most files, but prefer the following formats when possible: .ai, .eps, or .psd.

WHERE DO I SEND MY ARTWORK?

Artwork can be e-mailed to us at: art@standpointpromotions.com.

Please be sure to include your name and phone number with your e-mail so we can reference your order.

WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR MY ORDER?

We have a 10 day guaranteed turnaround time on normal orders, but you can usually expect your order in 4-5 business days. Rush services are available if you need it sooner.

DOES THE SIZE OF THE DESIGN MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

When it comes to Screen Printing, size does not matter. Screen printing is charged by the number of colors in the design and the number of locations that are printed.

When it comes to Embroidery, size does matter. Embroidery is priced by the number of stitches in the design. Embroidery is not charged by the number of colors in the design.

How do i get started?

Select the garment you like from our catalog. Decide the quantities you need and bring us your design or idea.

Do you have rush services?

Rush service is sometimes available depending on the time of year and current workload. A rush fee may apply.

What are your minimums?

Screen-printing – 12 pcs

Embroidery – 0 min

Signs or Decals – Please call

When do i pay?

Payment is due in full when you order.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and integrity. Your garments will be replaced if claims are made within 5 days of receiving your order. Due to various methods of manufacturing and laundering, we cannot guarantee against shrinkage.

How do i care for my imprinted apparel?

For best results, we recomment washing imprinted garments inside-out and by following the directions listed on the care label.

How do i get pricing for promoz services and garments?

We have a few ways to make it super simple. You can fill out a quote request online. You can call us to talk with a customer service representative. Lastly, if you’re close enough to our shop and want to stop in… we will be more than happy to help you in person.

Screen Printing

What is spot color?

A spot color is a pre-assigned color/shade that corresponds with the Pantone Matching System. Pantone is a series of colors with assigned numbers. This is the standard color system used throughout the printing industry.

What is a base?

A base is an underprint used on dark garments to achieve a bright, vibrant image on a garment.

What is process color?

Process color is blending of four primary colors (CMYK – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) using a set of dots to create all the colors of the spectrum. Process color screen printing usually requires a more complex setup and higher costs, so we would like to review the project before quoting. As an alternative, we offer Direct-to-Garment printing with a few limitations and not setup costs.

Do you print in unusual locations on a garment?

Other than standard locations, we have printed on almost every possible area on a garment.

What are my ink color choices?

We offer a wide variety of stock colors. We also offer ink matching to the Pantone Matching System for a small fee.

Can the same image be applied to different garments?

Yes, but some medium and dark colored garments may require an additional screen for a base.

Can i see a completed print before the job is run?

This is called a “press check”. A press check is only offered for larger quantity runs or complex jobs. A fee of $50.00 is required to schedule a press check and $50.00 per hour for every hour the press is sitting idle.

Can i switch colors on part of my order?

Yes, a mid-run ink color change can be easily accommodated. A small charge of $10.00 per color, per location will be applied.

What is your maximum print area?

Standard Print – 13″ W x 14″ H

No oversized prints

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO REDUCE THE COST OF SCREEN PRINTING:

1. Reduce the number of colors in your print.
2. Print on 1 side only.
3. The more you order the cheaper it gets.

What is digitizing?

Digitizing is the translation of an image into a digital file that controls color changes, density, stitch type and stitch direction for an embroidery machine.

Can a design be embroidered anywhere on a garment?

If the desired area can be hooped and still move freely when attached to the machine, it can be embroidered.

What is the maximum size for embroidery?

The largest hoop available is 14″ W x 16″ H.

It depends on the article we ar embroidering.

What is the maximum size for hat embroidery?

Maximum size for a cap front is 6.0″ W x 2.25″ H.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO REDUCE THE COST OF EMBROIDERY:

1. Reduce the size of your logo.
2. Get rid of the background of your logo, this will reduce the stitch count.
3. Get rid of outlines.
